What is LED Light Technology, and what is it used for?

LED’s (Light Emitting Diodes) produce a constant source of High Density & High Intensity Pure Light at a specific Colour/Wavelength. LED’s are used in a number of industries and can vary significantly in energy output. For skin treatments, they are normally positioned in an array to produce an accumulative effect, directing the light energy onto a particular area of the body.
In the aesthetic industry, LED light is used as a pain-free alternative to other light treatments, it enhances and prolongs other aesthetic treatments, and is used to treat a number of non-aesthetic conditions (e.g. wound healing, stress management, pain relief etc).

What does LED Light Therapy achieve?

LED light improves skin health on a cellular level, promoting Elastin and Collagen production by stimulating the cells to work harder. This results in improved cell health, extending the lifetime of cells, and reducing inflammation, which leads to a marked improvement in the skin condition.

What effects do the different colour LED’s have?

RED Light - enhances cell stimulation and proliferation, promoting skin regeneration and reducing inflammation
BLUE Light – promotes oxygen production to destroy P. Acne bacteria

What are the benefits of the ReGen™ LED System?

ReGen is the most flexible system available, enabling the use of both red and blue light either individually or together on the same treatment head (Magenta). Intensity levels can be adjusted on each wavelength as well as the mix of each colour.
